Delivered in collaboration with the AUT School of Future Environments, this first Construction Clients’ Group Auckland Seminar of 2026 continues the Construction Clients’ Group’s focus on modern methods of construction and prefabrication within Aotearoa.

The session brings together public sector and housing delivery leaders to share applied case studies and explore how modularisation, lean systems and integrated delivery models can drive efficiency, resilience and sector-wide transformation. Auckland Transport will present on the three phases of modularisation within Auckland’s Level Crossing Removal Programme. Kāinga Ora will outline its national Lean housing delivery model and 'Big Room' approach, demonstrating measurable efficiency gains and exploring how these models may be scaled more widely across the sector.

The AUT School of Future Environments continues to build national leadership in modern methods of construction, lean delivery systems and digital construction innovation. Through applied research, industry partnerships and practice-integrated teaching, it contributes actively to conversations around productivity, housing delivery reform and sustainable construction futures in Aotearoa. This seminar reflects our commitment to bridging research, policy and practice to effect meaningful sector change.
