An exhibition of healing for Survivors of Abuse in Care
Te Roopū Toiora from the Survivors Experience Service is excited to invite you to our Survivors Exhibition, He Kura Toiora, to be held at AUT Te Wai Ngutu Kākā Gallery between 1 and 3 August 2025.
He Kura Toiora is a 3-day event and will include an array of visual and performing arts that captures the narratives and experiences of survivors. It is our intention to bring awareness to the general public about survivors' stories, and to create a space that centres around the healing of our community.
Many survivors use art to tell their stories, temper their trauma and invariably support their healing journey. The exhibition will be a forum to share the experiences of survivors with the public, giving a platform for survivors to be seen and heard.
Please join the trustees of Te Roopū Toiora at the opening of our exhibition He Kura Toiora - Tāmaki Makaurau. An Exhibition of Healing for Survivors of Abuse in Care.
