Prehospital Paediatric Care online short course

This course is designed to refresh your knowledge and practice in paediatric care within the prehospital setting. It is run by our paramedicine team in conjunction with the industry.

Who can do this course

This short course is primarily aimed at the prehospital emergency services including intensive care paramedics, paramedics and EMTs who have completed a BHSc in Paramedicine or those that have an Authority to Practice and want to remain current with their clinical practice.

Why is this course recommended for me

This course has been designed with working health professionals in mind. The pre-learning through the AUT online Canvas platform is designed to be a self-paced programme that you can progress through at your own speed, place and time; there is no onsite classroom requirements.

How long is the course

The course should take approximately 16 hours of online learning; however, you will have 6 months to complete the online learning. You will need to enrol to gain access to the online learning.

Each online short course culminates in a compulsory formative MCQ quiz with a required end course pass mark of 80%.
