Typically, undergraduate students will spend three years studying a single subject that forms their course (major)
Students applying to Cardiff can select modules from across the available schools, provided this has been approved by the academic team at AUT. To help limit timetable clashes, it is advisable to take the majority of your modules within one Academic School.
Due to demand, some Academic Schools at Cardiff will only be able to offer modules to those students majoring in the discipline. These Schools currently include their School of Politics, History, Archaeology and Religion, School of English, Communication and Philosophy, and School of Psychology.
Students wanting to study in their School of Biosciences must do a year-long exchange.
The following courses are not available for AUT students: Architecture, Law and clinical disciplines.
