Student Advisory Group: postgraduate research and doctoral student representatives
The Graduate Research School has postgraduate research and doctoral student representatives for AUT's Student Advisory Group, who take on the role for one to two years. They attend regular Student Advisory Group meetings and report back to their peers with updates. The group meetings are also a chance for our reps to raise any issues experienced by postgraduate research students.
The Student Advisory Group is made up of the following members:

Role of doctoral and postgraduate research student representatives
The role for doctoral and postgraduate research student reps involves:
- Attending bi-monthly meetings as a member of the Student Advisory Group
- Raising doctoral student issues with the Dean of the Graduate Research School and/or the Student Advisory Group
- Reporting back to research students with updates once/twice a semester
