Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Network

Everyone is at risk of experiencing a traumatic brain injury (also known as concussion).

Nearly 1/3 of people have experienced at least one traumatic brain injury by the age of 25 years. Some people recover quickly, but nearly half go on to experience long-term problems.

Currently public awareness remains low, healthcare is highly variable and there is a lack of evidence as to ‘what works’. The TBI Network aims to support better health and wellbeing for people experiencing traumatic brain injuries.

Giving to the TBI Network

The not-for-profit TBI Network was established with initial seed funding from AUT. Its long term sustainability is dependent on philanthropic support and research funding.

Thanks to all of our supporters for their contributions.
