Get involved with the Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Network

The TBI Network aims to bring together people, services and research to discover more about traumatic brain injury. Join us to help raise awareness or further our work in the field.

Raise awareness

Public awareness of traumatic brain injury is low. Help us raise awareness:

  1. Educate yourself
  2. Educate others: share information with your friends and family – the more people who know, the closer we are to making this less of a problem
  3. Don't be a silent bystander: if you think someone has had a potential concussion, speak up. Encourage them to seek medical attention.

Ways to give to the TBI Network

Every activity of the TBI Network aims for better health and wellbeing for people experiencing traumatic brain injuries. By giving to the TBI Network you can help us achieve this aim. We can work together better and deliver more effective research faster.

There are many ways to give and no donation is too small:

  • Sponsor a networking event
  • Provide a student scholarship to start someone’s career in TBI
  • Support a doctoral student to kick-start their career through a post-doctoral fellowship
  • Help us buy educational resources to educate our communities
  • Support small grants to get new ideas off the ground or to translate results back into everyday life
  • Donate any amount to the network and we can direct it to where it is needed most
  • Support the translation of information into different languages

How to make a donation

You can make a donation to the TBI Network online via the AUT Foundation – when you fill in the form, change the 'designation' field to 'Traumatic Brain Injury Network Fund'.
