Occupational Health, Safety and Wellbeing

This minor provides students with an opportunity to understand the principles of risk assessment and occupational health, safety and wellbeing systems, practices and programmes for improving culture, morale and performance in organisations. It enables you to explore relevant “soft skills” like leadership, negotiation, conflict management and communication.

Workplace health, safety and wellbeing is both universally relevant and a key priority for every organisation. Robust health and safety practice in the workplace is now not only a legal requirement under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015, it’s also fundamental to operating a good business.
