The Capstone Editing Conference Travel Grant for Postgraduate Research Students
$3,000 for one student per year to assist in covering the costs of attending a conference in relation to their degree. The student does not necessarily have to be presenting a paper or poster at the conference to be eligible for the grant, though it is preferred.
The Capstone Editing Early Career Academic Research Grant for Women
$5,000 for one female early career academic per year to assist with the costs associated with a research project of her choosing leading towards a publication.
The Capstone Editing Grant for Professional Thesis Editing
We are thrilled to add the Capstone Editing Grant for Professional Thesis Editing to our program. The grant provides free thesis editing for one Masters student and one PhD student per year. There is no limit on the amount of words in the thesis that we will edit (so long as the thesis meets the students’ departments’ word limit). It just needs to be a thesis written for a postgraduate degree for an Australian or New Zealand university.
The Capstone Editing Laptop Grant for Postgraduate Coursework Students
$3,000 for one postgrad student per year to purchase a computer or laptop and software for their studies. .
The Capstone Editing Mid-Career Academic Research Grant for Women
$5,000 for one mid-career academic per year to assist with seed funding for an innovative research project that may gather preliminary data and lead to the development of a research council funding application.
The Capstone Editing Research Scholarship for Honours Students
$3,000 for one Honours student per year to assist with covering the costs associated with the research for their thesis.
The Capstone Editing Scholarship for Indigenous High School Students
Capstone Editing seeks to make a modest contribution towards this target through our Scholarship for Indigenous High School Students. The scholarship will initially be available in South Australia, the home state of Dr Lines, but will hopefully be expanded to other states in the future.
