Purpose
MNSc graduates will be eligible to apply for registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and will have beginning practitioner knowledge, skills and understanding of nursing. They will demonstrate leadership in the integration of nursing into healthcare services within a complex environment. They will be critical and reflective, with strong applied research capability. They will demonstrate the ability to engage in research and may progress to further postgraduate advanced nursing practice study, or academic study at the doctoral level.
