An examination of the responsibility of business in creating positive societal and environmental outcomes. The content raises social awareness and develops in students the capacity for ethical analysis by exposing them to real business ethics issues in New Zealand and around the world. Provides relevant concepts, theories, and frameworks to enable moral reasoning and informed ethical decision-making. The application of concepts and frameworks to real world cases facilitates discernment of the positive and negative impacts of business activity on a range of stakeholders and an awareness of diverse perspectives on ethical, responsible, and sustainable business practice, including Mātauranga Māori. Fundamental academic and professional skills for business will be developed.
