An introduction to methods for applied macroeconomic modelling, with a focus on time series econometrics. Analysis of the aggregate economy is extended through the development and application of suitable techniques for the analysis of trends and cycles in macroeconomic data, as well as forecasting. A key focus will be on processing data with econometric software to address macroeconomic issues.
