Explores the evolution and context of evidence-based practice. Develops advanced skills in accessing, critiquing and synthesizing sources of evidence that underpin clinical practice. Focuses on practice development using an evidence based framework. It includes examination and critique of socio-cultural-political and ethical contexts that influence health research in New Zealand. The course prepares students to undertake some dissertations or the practice project.
