This interdisciplinary course introduces students to the role and impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in modern society and social research. We blend theory and practice to identify how AI shapes, reinforces, or disrupts social structures, public policy, and identity. Ethics in Artificial Intelligence (AI) will be considered. Students with no prior experience will gain hands-on experience using no-code/low-code AI tools to identify data-driven stories using social datasets.
