Teachers need to grow funds of professional knowledge. This course will allow students to extend their knowledge and understandings of design for learning through exploration of integration, teaching, learning and assessment in English and Mathematics & Statistics. This course includes an exploration of relevant curriculum content and pedagogical approaches that addresses the needs of Maori learners within the bicultural/multicultural context of Aotearoa New Zealand. The course offers students the opportunity to engage with metacognitive approaches in support of learning for all.
