This course integrates prior knowledge of te reo Māori and tikanga Māori to extend students’ understanding of te ao Māori. Students will be able to conduct whakatau (semi-formal welcome) and have the capacity and knowledge required to care for Māori communities and spaces pertaining to whakatau.
