Ko te mahi tahi te aronga nui o DIGD507. I maheretia tēnei pepa kia ākona atu ai ngā mātāpono o te mahi ā-rōpū, pēnei i te kōrerorero, te wānanga, me te tauutuutu. Ko ngā tikanga o te ao Māori te tūāpapa o ēnei āhuatanga katoa. The focus of DIDG507 is collaboration. It has been designed to teach effective teamwork, through building skills in communication, decision-making, and compromise, and learning lessons in conflict management, risk-taking, and the influence of one's world-view. The theory component of the paper comes from mātauranga Māori. These lessons and skills, along with the theory underpinning the paper, will help students in future group work they are expected to undertake as part of their course of study, and will be useful in their future workplaces.
