Designed for those interested in young readers. Students explore the educational aspects of children’s literature, and the different and diverse literatures relevant to children in the 21st century. Reading literature to learn about children from diverse backgrounds, their challenges, identities, cultural characteristics and contexts will be a focus. The variety of children’s texts will include written, oral, visual and multimodal texts.
