This is a foundation course in Kaupapa Maori theory and its application to the analysis, critique and construction of screen production. Students examine how narrative, structure, composition, style, and technical crafts contribute to Kaupapa Maori screen productions. Original concepts for screen, research, and marketing strategies are produced and pitched to potential producers/investors.
