Midwifery at AUT University: an overview

AUT has the only university midwifery department north of Waikato. We offer our degrees and qualifications on AUT's North Shore and South campuses, and at satellite centres in Northland and Taranaki.
We maintain close links with Lead Maternity Carer Midwives (LMC), hospital managers and midwifery clients who offer advice and feedback. AUT's programmes are accredited through the Midwifery Council of New Zealand. Expertise from our Centre for Midwifery and Women's Health Research informs continual improvement in our teaching.
