Te Kōrau programme details

Te Kōrau is a wānanga-based business development programme that equips you with the insights, relationships, and tools needed to turn an idea, talent, or passion into a sustainable business venture.

When and where

The Te Kōrau programme will be delivered over two intensive wānanga on Marae as well as weekly drop-in sessions, so you can live and breath Māori entrepreneurship.

  • Wānanga Tuatahi: Sat 16—Sun 17 November, 2019
  • Wānanga Tuarua: Sat 7—Sun 8 December, 2019

Location: Pa Te Aroha Marae, Whirinaki, Northland

Te utu: programme costs

We are asking for a koha of $200 per participant to cover kai and accommodation over the two wānanga. The programme value is over $1000 per participant and is made possible through support from Northland Inc and AUT.

Discovering your bottom line

  • Startup and ongoing needs, fixed and variable costs, break-even point

Module 7: Mahi kaute kia tupu

Accounting for growth

  • Sustainability by monetising your business (Ehara ka ora te iwi Maori ma te pipi me te aroha anake.), kōha/barter, break-even point, sales projections, cash flow, accounting
