Ranked among the top tourism departments in the world, AUT's Tourism and Event Management department is globally known for its research excellence. Our Bachelor of International Tourism Management has received TedQual accreditation from the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).

The School of Hospitality and Tourism is a member of the Tourism Industry Aotearoa's Sustainable Tourism Commitment, and established New Zealand’s first Pacific Asia Travel Association New Zealand student chapter.
