Ting joined Auckland University of Technology as a senior lecturer in finance in October 2004. The courses that he taught include Fundamentals of Finance, Financial Management, Corporate Finance, Investment and Portfolio Analysis, Risk and Portfolio Management, and Advanced Topics in Corporate Finance. His current research interests are in the areas of corporate finance, international finance, investments, and China-related issues. His research work has been presented in international conferences and published in refereed finance journals. Ting received a Ph.D. in Finance from Nanyang Technological University of Singapore in May 2005. Prior to pursuing his Ph.D. in Singapore, Ting worked for four years in industry.
