Katie Dee is a Researcher with the Rugby Codes Research Group working on numerous rugby research projects and assisting with teaching (Leadership in Sport and the Outdoors, Leadership in Sport and Recreation) and supervision of undergraduate students in the School of Sport and Recreation. Prior to joining the university Katie held various positions within the sport industry in New Zealand and Australia. Her experience spans across both the commercial and not for profit sectors including working with high performance athletes, developing and implementing physical activity initiatives, managing sponsorship negotiations and relationship management.
Sport leadership, student engagement
Katie’s research focus is in sport leadership. She is also interested in curriculum development, student engagement and is passionate about pursuing research that is relevant to developing and enhancing the sport sector.
