Biography:

John is currently pursuing PhD at the University of Queensland. His doctoral research examines the value relevance of voluntary disclosures with a particular focus on the relevance of management earnings forecasts in stock price valuation.  Before joining AUT in 2005, John served as an academic at Unitec Institute of Technology. Recently, he also served as an academic at RMIT. Having worked in the accounting field in Auckland and taught various subjects both in undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, John brings with him both accounting and teaching experience.
