I completed my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in France and followed a path devoted to research activities (microbiology, immunology) at Institute Pasteur in Paris, New Caledonia and French Guyana. My doctoral research in New Caledonia was focused on the interactions between pathogenic leptospires and eukaryotic cells. I moved to New Zealand in 2006 to join Roche Diagnostics NZ where I had access to the latest diagnostic technologies in the Molecular Diagnostics and Applied Sciences disciplines and developed training and education courses around these technologies. I developed strong links and promoted scientific education within diagnostics and research laboratories throughout New Zealand.

Teaching Areas:

Immunology, virology, molecular diagnostics and quality control. I enjoy providing lectures doing the utmost to teach, making a difference in one’s life by transferring skills and knowledge with passion and commitment.

Research Areas:

Microbiology, Immunology and Molecular Diagnostics.
