Overview:

Dr. Helena Cooper-Thomas is Professor of Organizational Behaviour in the Faculty of Business. She has authored over 50 peer-reviewed international publications in journals including Journal of Organizational Behavior, Academy of Management Journal, and the Journal of Vocational Behavior, and contributed to a number of scholarly books, either as author, co-author or co-editor.

Dr. Cooper-Thomas is Senior Associate Editor on the Journal of Managerial Psychology and on the Consulting Editorial Board of the Journal of Business and Psychology. She also provides ad hoc reviews for various other journals (e.g., Administrative Science Quarterly, Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology) as well as reviewing for awards (e.g., Subcommittee 2016 and Subcommittee Chair 2018 and 2019 for the William A. Owens Scholarly Achievement Award, SIOP) and grants (e.g., Health Research Council, NZ; Agence Nationale de la Recherche, France).

Dr. Cooper-Thomas is a member of various professional management and organisational psychology associations.

Dr. Cooper-Thomas has been a visiting scholar at the University of Toronto (2010), Cass Business School (2013) and the University of Tilburg (2016). She enjoys collaborating with colleagues, and also with postgraduate students and practitioners. While primarily a quantitative researcher, she has also collaborated on and led qualitative research projects.
