Biography:

Paul is currently a Lecturer in nursing at AUT University. Paul has practised as a nurse in a variety of areas including hospital and community paediatrics, public health, emergency, and refugee health. He has worked as a nurse specialist in the North Shore hospital emergency department and, more recently as a paediatric nurse specialist in the Mangere Refugee Resettlement Centre, Auckland. Nursing has also taken Paul overseas where he has worked as a health delegate with the International Federation of the Red Cross (IFRC).
