Biography:

Yvonne is currently employed at AUT University in New Zealand as Senior Lecturer, engaged in teaching and research. Prior to entering the academic environment, she held several roles in hospitality organisations focused on Food & Beverage, Training and Kitchen Administration before transferring into IT to become a Hospitality Business Solutions Specialist.


Yvonne is focused on the nexus between teaching and research and chooses to work on projects that combine these areas. Specifically, the integration of blended learning environments, curriculum refinement and conducting research into Work Integrated Learning are recent examples which combine her teaching with research into the tertiary teaching environment.
