Biography:

Shoba has always been interested in the efficient storage of data for effective retrieval. Her current research is in using ontologies to inform data mining for knowledge discovery. Shoba is also interested in the research areas of data modelling and databases, data warehousing, cloud computing, the semantic web and eDiscovery in which she supervises student projects and theses.
