is the Programme Leader for AUT's School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences collaborative partnerships programmes, and is a senior lecturer teaching in the IT Service Science major of the Bachelor of Computer and Information Sciences (BCIS), and supervision in the final year BCIS Research & Development Project for both domestic and off-shore teaching programmes. Leo has been in the IT industry for 30+ years in the areas of requirements analysis, service, project management, general management, and, latterly, Industry Training and Certification; and since 2000 as an academic at AUT University. Leo’s doctoral research is the development of intercultural competencies in study abroad cultural immersion students. This contributes to the IT Service Science field of research due to the global cross-cultural nature of collaboration such as project management, and collaborative services within the IT industry. It further contributes to competencies in his work with international partnerships.
