Biography:

My background includes counselling practice and mediation for the Family Court, employment in various Auckland counselling agencies and supervision of practitioners and students. My areas of interest include counselling; from a post-structuralist perspective, supervising counselling practitioners, conflict resolution and social justice.

Research Summary:

My Masters thesis focussed on conflict resolution processes within New Zealand universities. Other research projects have included ‘Effects of Supervision for Counselling Practice’ and an exploration of the factors that influence persons’ choice of counsellor.

Current Research Projects:

Collaborative supervision.  Relational models of counselling.
