At the undergraduate level I teach Plants and Animals 775318, Fish and Aquatic Plants 776326 and Pacific Island Ecosystems Ecol732, which is a tropical ecology field course in the Solomon Islands (Click here for a video profile). At the postgraduate level I teach Marine Ecosystems 778038
I am interested in fish ecology, including ecosystem functions, reproductive biology and fisheries management. I am currently supervising postgraduate projects on biochemical properties of gametes in Snapper Chrysophrys auratus, Inanga Galaxias maculatus and Giant kokopu Galaxias argenteus.
