博士生入读AUT需要什么资料

Application Process:

As an International Student, you will need to complete and return the ‘International Student Application Form’, with certified copies of all your supporting documents.

Your supporting documents should include the following:

1) Certified copy of your passport/birth certificate

2) Certified and translated copy of your academic transcripts/results and qualifications awarded

3) Certified copy of English language test if applicable (e.g. Academic IELTS, TOEFL)

4) Outline of thesis/research proposal

5) Curriculum Vitae (CV)

6) Certified copy of relevant work reference/s from employer/s detailing length of employment and roles and responsibilities

7) Any publications, presentations, or prior research conducted (if applicable)

You will also need to complete and return an ‘Application for Enrolment’

You need to have completed one of the following in a discipline appropriate to your proposed research:

  • Master's degree with honours (normally with 1st class or 2nd class 1st division honours)
  • Bachelor's degree with honours (normally with 1st class or 2nd class 1st division honours)
  • Acceptance is also subject to the availability of staff for supervision, prior research preparation and appropriate facilities.

Admission to the Doctor of Philosophy also requires:

  • Advanced learning in research and
  • Completion of a research project and a written report on that research
  • Admission to a professional doctorate also requires:

A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the specific area of study
