Professional development for study groups visiting AUT

We offer customised training programmes for study groups wanting to visit AUT University in New Zealand from overseas. These are professional development courses that we design specifically to meet your group’s learning needs.

We create a programme for you by working with expert staff across AUT, its faculties and beyond. We can combine customised content, experiential learning, delivery and pastoral support.

Course length and attendee numbers

Our courses range from intensive 5-day programmes to 12-week programmes.

We prefer to have 20 participants in a course, but will accept up to 30.

We can further customise any of our programmes to reflect your English language needs. Your chosen programme can include:

What you can expect

We will meet your group when you arrive in Auckland, New Zealand. Your group will take part in an orientation where they will learn about what will happen during the course.

You will be given a Māori welcome or ‘powhiri’. This involves a formal ceremony and rituals where you will be welcomed onto the marae (meeting place).

Your group will be given learning and pastoral support during the course.
