Kia Ora Alumni and Friends,
Please join us for an evening of business insights and networking opened by New Zealand Consul-General in Shanghai, Guergana Guermanoff, and hosted by the North Asia Centre of Asia-Pacific Excellence (CAPE), in partnership with the Kiwi Expats Association (KEA) and the University of Auckland.
We’re delighted all New Zealand universities are taking part to enrich the China alumni community and advance CAPE’s commitment to helping New Zealand build sustainable, future-focused economic and cultural relationships with China.
New Zealand Trade and Enterprise Shanghai Trade Commissioner Damon Paling will deliver the keynote speech “The Changing Landscape in China”, followed by a panel discussion exploring the Chinese business environment from a range of perspectives: Kiwi start-ups in China, digital, and the so-called war on talent.

This will be a fantastic opportunity to connect with your fellow alumni as well as network with alumni from all the New Zealand universities. You’ll also get to engage with representatives from a range of firms active in China who will be showcasing their products and services on the night.
Complimentary beverages and canapés will be provided.
