Join us and hear from Dr Erla S. Kristjánsdóttir (University of Iceland) on the experiences of Filipino nurses in Iceland.
The number of immigrants from the Philippines in Iceland has more than quadrupled in the past two decades, and the intersectionality of gender, race, ethnicity and nationality influences how they experience their position in the Icelandic labor market.
In-depth interviews were conducted with immigrants from the Philippines with nursing degrees working in Iceland.
