To allow the AUT website to fetch information from your Research Elements profile, you need to opt-in by changing your profile privacy setting.
These changes will take effect overnight.
You can preview your profile before you publish it by entering your AUT ID login (username) here:
Note: If your title/position is wrong (e.g. it says Mr instead of Dr), please log a job with People & Culture by clicking here as this information can only be updated in the HR system. Once updated, changes will take effect in Research Elements within 24 hours.
You have the option to revert to the previous version of your profile. To do this, change your profile privacy level in Research Elements back to Internal. Changes will take effect overnight. If you choose to do this, we would welcome your feedback on what obstacles there are for you to powering your profile from Research Elements and how we can address these.

Create or connect your existing ORCID to your Research Elements profile.
Please refresh your page by clicking the Home button and you will be able to see an ORCID number on your profile page.

From the Home page, click Go to your profile. Please fill out the Overview, Research interests and Teaching summary sections following these guidelines:
From the Home page, click Go to your profile. Scroll down until you see Academic appointments and then click Add an academic appointment.
Note: You can choose not to display this academic appointment on your public webpage by changing Privacy option at the bottom right corner.
From the Home page, click Go to your profile. Scroll down until you see Education and then click Add a degree or Add a certification (if applicable to you).
Once your profile privacy is set to Public, by default all your verified publications are displayed on your AUT staff profile page. If you have set favourite research outputs in Research Elements, these will appear at the top of the list under a ‘Featured Research Outputs’ section (instructions below).
Research outputs are displayed on your AUT staff profile page grouped by research output type, then in order of most recent for each type. Outputs are formatted using the APA referencing style.
To toggle whether individual outputs are featured, click the heart symbol button.

Once your profile privacy is set to Public, by default all new types of professional activities are displayed on your AUT staff profile page. You can access a tool for extracting any old professional activities from the system here. Just like with your research outputs, if you would like to change the visibility or feature particular activities, please do the following:
All current URLs will automatically be redirected to the new, dynamic profile.
All new staff will be able to request a redirect that contains their name
