Bachelor of Science (Honours)

Already have a degree and want to prepare yourself for higher-level careers or a master's degree or PhD? The Bachelor of Science (Honours) is for students with an undergraduate degree in applied mathematics, computer science or science.

At the heart of the programme is the honours dissertation; an independent small-scale research project on a scientific topic. We have strong links with key industry organisations, and many students complete their research project in collaboration with an industry partner. courses in the Bachelor of Science (Honours) focus on the latest developments in applied mathematics, computer science and science.

Minimum entry requirements

  • Bachelor of Mathematical Sciences or Bachelor of Science (or equivalent) with a B grade average or higher in level 7 courses.

International student entry requirements

English language requirements

  • IELTS (Academic) 6.5 overall with all bands 6.0 or higher; or equivalent

The degree consists of courses and a dissertation where you undertake a supervised research project, sometimes in collaboration with an industry partner.
