Reflection (AUT Edge Award requirement)

Silhouette against sunset
The final stage of the AUT Edge Award is about reflecting on the employability skills you've developed.

Explore and articulate the skills you develop through the AUT Edge Award

Your reflection is the final component of the AUT Edge Award – you complete it after all other components. Your reflection is formally assessed by AUT.

You have been doing lots of different activities and gaining many new skills, but can you articulate this from an employability perspective? The reflection will help you communicate to others what you have achieved while doing the award. So how do you do this?

You choose the format
You can express your reflection through:

  • Writing
  • Video
  • Film
  • Presentation
  • Portfolio

This is your opportunity to get creative and share your personal journey. Talk to an employability or career specialist if you have another presentation idea that is not mentioned in the list above and we'll see if it fits our criteria.
