Māori Management

There were notable Māori social, economic and military leaders well prior to European contact. The people’s expectations of their acknowledged leaders were very high, and Maori traditions of skill, inventiveness and determination can be an inspiration to current generations of Māori managers.

Research Active Staff

Dr Colin Knox and Ella Henry of Te Ara Poutama are working with the AUT School of Business to develop courses which bring together Māori traditions of management and the requirements of modern curricula.
