Graduate Diploma and Graduate Certificate in Arts

The Graduate Diploma and Graduate Certificate in Arts are designed for students with an undergraduate degree who wish to pursue further study to broaden or deepen educational, professional or vocational knowledge and skills in a familiar subject or to develop knowledge in a new area.

Duration: Diploma - 1 year full time / 2 years part time; Certificate - 1/2 year full time / 2 years part time
Venue: City and North shore campuses, depending on papers chosen

Entry requirements


What these qualifications cover

Students choose papers from the Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Education, Bachelor of Māori Development, Bachelor of International Hospitality Management and Bachelor of Tourism Studies degrees.

Graduate Diploma

Students choose papers in an area of interest to accumulate 120 points. At least 75 points must be, with a minimum of 45 points at Level 7, in a single subject area.

Graduate Certificate

Students choose papers in an area of interest to accumulate 60 points. At least 45 points must in a single subject area.
