The Master of Professional Business Studies is a coursework only masters qualification. Students do not undertake a thesis or dissertation.
Students build on a relevant three year undergraduate degree and professional experience or four years of degree and postgraduate or honours study.
The qualification enables students to advance their knowledge in the area of Māori Development within a wider business, organisational and community context. Current models of business, management and enterprise are examined from a Māori perspective. In particular, there is an emphasis on the application of advanced theoretical knowledge and understandings to contemporary issues within Māori communities.
Graduates are equipped with professional knowledge and technical, interpersonal, strategic and intellectual capabilities necessary for success in a range of professions.
