Scholarships in Te Ara Poutama for which you can apply
Students studying with Te Ara Poutama can apply for the following tuition fee scholarships:

John Tapiata Scholarship established in 1992 to acknowledge the contribution of John Tapiata as the first Tumuaki of Te Ara Poutama and his passion for excellence and Te Reo Māori.

Mavis Tuoro Scholarship established in 1998 to acknowledge the contribution of Mavis Tuoro to Te Ara Poutama. The scholarship is to encourage Māori scholarship in English or Te Reo Māori.

Peter Harwood Scholarship in Community Leadership and Excellence to reward leadership qualities and academic excellence. To encourage and support students to pursue tertiary education in the area of Māori Development.
