Prerequisite: A basic understanding of anatomy and physiology. (See Fitness Foundations for information on these topics) or an acceptable equivalent qualification.
This practical course offers the opportunity to learn massage techniques to enhance the relaxation of muscles and the athlete's recovery from some of the negative effects of exercise. Learn the latest soft tissue techniques as well as traditional massage skills to improve the athlete’s recovery.
Athletes are increasingly aware of the cumulative benefits of massage and its effects on potential performance – learn these valuable skills to improve muscle condition.
