Pre-degree study: Certificate in Social Sciences

The Certificate in Social Sciences offers the opportunity to gain entrance to the Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences or Psychology and other relevant qualifications at AUT.

The certificate improves study skills, introduces social science concepts and increases confidence in a university setting. It also provides a foundation for social services, community work and other human services work.

  • 48 credits at level 2 and 8 credits at level 1 or higher in one of the following subjects:
