Advanced MIG and ARC Welding
FEE $450 (includes GST)
Advanced students may apply to be tested for Advanced MIG and ARC Welding. Additional costs for test materials and X-rays will be advised upon application.
The Advanced MIG and ARC Welding Course is designed for you if you are already working in the industry but wish to upgrade your skills with a view to improving your employment and earning capacity as a Welder or Fitter-Welder. To be certified to AS/NZ Standard 2980 level, all test plates must be X-rayed by an external certified laboratory contracted by AUT.
* AS/NZ Standard 2980 indicates level of achievement
* Classes will not run on public holidays
* The university reserves the right to cancel, postpone or alter the course as necessary
