The applied mathematics major really expanded my understanding of maths and its application in the real world. Every industry uses maths in some way in its decision making process. I really enjoyed the operations research paper, which taught me how to create models to find the best outcomes. The lecturers were supportive and small class sizes meant more one-on-one attention.
