Research Summary:
Currently I am leading a small group of students, collaborating with New Zealand Blood Service on a variety of Transfusion research projects. My prior (industrial) experience was in the field of paternity testing and HLA typing for transplantation matching, with a particular emphasis on DNA technologies. I am the convenor of the Transfusion Science Special Interest Group, an industry group under the auspices of the New Zealand Institute of Medical Laboratory Science.
