Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Applied Language Studies

The Bachelor of Arts (Honours) provides a route for high achieving students, whose academic capabilities and potential would be well served by concentrating on research-based study leading to doctoral study.
WHAT THIS PROGRAMME COVERS

Students complete papers in advanced theoretical studies in Applied Language Studies and a research methods paper. An individually designed reading paper may be chosen. Students also undertake an individually supervised 60-point research dissertation.

CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

Graduates will be well placed for employment in areas requiring sound analytical and critical thinking, and research skills at a more advanced level than a bachelor’s degree.
